1. Data controller

Casona Esmeralda By Almar SpA (Casona Esmeralda), Esmeralda 335, Papudo, Valparaíso Region.

2. What data we handle

This website is informational: it has no forms, user accounts or online booking system, so it does not collect your name, email or phone number.

If you call or write to us, we will use that information only to answer your enquiry or manage your reservation.

3. Storage in your browser

We save the language you choose in your browser’s local storage (key casona-lang). These are functional preferences: they are not sent to any server or used to identify you.

4. Third-party services

Google Maps: the “Visit us” section embeds a Google map. When it loads, Google may receive your IP address and technical browser data, under Google’s own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

Hosting: the site is served by Netlify, which may log your IP address in technical server logs for security and operation.

External links: when you open our menu on Fudo, Instagram or Google Maps, those sites apply their own policies.

5. Analytics and cookies

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not measure its visitors. If analytics is added in the future, we will ask for your consent before enabling it and update this policy.

6. International transfers

Google and Netlify may process technical data outside Chile (for example, in the United States), under their own policies.

7. Retention

We do not keep personal data through the website. Information you give us by phone or email is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, unless the law requires otherwise.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or objection regarding your personal data by writing to casonaesmeralda335@gmail.com. These rights are recognized in Chile’s Law 19.628 and will be expanded by Law 21.719 once it takes effect, which will also allow complaints to the Personal Data Protection Agency.

9. Changes

We will publish any change to this policy here and update the date above.
